FWT and UWB (Ultra-Wide Band) Applications

FWT antenna elements are a good choice for Ultra-Wide Bandwidth (UWB) systems, given their inherently superior bandwidth, directivity, and high isolation. Recent de-regulation by the FCC is enabling rapid growth of UWB systems. The FWTG is happy to offer antennas and UWB circuitry platforms for your use.

Input Reflection coefficient, reveals a wide bandwidth, and smooth slopes, that insure proper signal reception. Shown is a dual UWB antenna package. Dual UWB antenna do not need a TX/RX switch and associated control and timing.

Phase sensitive systems can take advantage of our flat phase wide-band response. Employing the patterned substrate within each UWB antenna can further reduce phase errors and antenna to chip-set interface issues.
